This page explains, in plain words, what AliceAlive Yoga Studio does with the details you give when you ask to book a class.
Who we are

What we collect
- When you send a booking request: your name, email address, optional phone number, the class or classes you want, how many people, and any note you add.
- A short one-way code made from your internet address, to stop automated spam. It cannot be turned back into your address and it changes every month.
- When you view a page, the small feedback note on the site (a yellow sticky note on large screens, a "Feedback" button on phones) records the page, your approximate location (country and city, worked out from your internet address, which this site does not store), your device type, browser and language, and an anonymous code that changes every day. If you rate a page, ask a question or share it through the note, that is stored too, and you can leave your name out.
Why, and the legal basis
To answer your request and arrange your place (taking steps at your request before a booking), and to keep the studio's records tidy. We do not use your details for advertising, and we do not sell or share them.
Who sees it
Alice and the person who built and looks after the website (who runs the feedback note at naushad.co.uk). The website is hosted by GoDaddy, and email travels through the usual email services, so they handle the data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Booking requests are deleted automatically after 365 days. Individual page views from the feedback note are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted; only anonymous daily totals (for example, visits per country) are kept longer.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies for visitors and uses no advertising trackers. If you use the light/dark switch at the top of the page, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site can remember it; it is never sent to us. The feedback note counts visits without cookies and does not follow you from site to site. It stays silent (counts nothing) if your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal. Fonts and pictures come from this site only; the feedback note's own code is loaded from naushad.co.uk.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing Alice. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
